About IP Address Lookup

IP Address Lookup shows the global IP address you are connecting from, the country / region, hostname, and your device / browser info together on a single page.

Network info (IP, country, hostname) is gathered from request headers on the server side, and device / browser info (OS, browser, screen resolution, language, timezone, etc.) is gathered in your browser. Putting both side by side gives you a quick at-a-glance view of your network environment.

This site does not store or log the information shown. Verify a VPN, check your egress while traveling abroad, or share your environment with a support agent — all in a couple of clicks.

How to use

  1. Open the page — the global IP, country / region, hostname, and device info are shown automatically.
  2. If you toggle a VPN or switch networks (mobile / Wi-Fi), reload the page to see the latest values.
  3. The "Device info" panel shows OS, browser, screen resolution, timezone, and language.
  4. Take a screenshot when you need to share environment details with support or with a teammate.

Use cases

  • Confirming which country your VPN egress is exposing after enabling it.
  • Verifying that your connection actually originates in the expected country while traveling.
  • Looking up your home or office global IP (e.g., when registering it on an allowlist or for IP-restricted services).
  • Sharing your OS / browser / resolution with a support agent or engineer in one shot.
  • Developers verifying environment detection across browsers and resolutions during QA.

Notes

  • The IP shown is the global IP after your ISP / VPN / proxy. It is not the LAN private IP (e.g., 192.168.x.x).
  • Country / region is inferred from the IP. When using a VPN, the egress country is shown.
  • Hostname is shown only when a reverse DNS record exists; otherwise "—" appears.
  • Device info comes from User-Agent and Navigator APIs and may be incorrect if a browser extension or developer tool has spoofed values.
  • This site does not store or log the information shown.

FAQ

Is the displayed information stored?
No. The information here is gathered from your browser and request headers. This site does not record the values.
Are IPv6 addresses shown?
The address received on the server side is shown verbatim. If you are connecting from IPv6, you will see your IPv6 address.
Can I check whether my VPN is working?
Yes. With the VPN enabled, reload the page — the egress server's IP and country are shown. If the country matches what you expect, the VPN is working as intended.
The country looks wrong.
The country is inferred from the IP via request headers. Proxies and mobile carrier routes may map to a country that differs from your physical location.
The OS / browser detection is off.
The detection comes from the User-Agent string, and may be off when a browser extension or developer tool spoofs it, or for very recently released browsers.
